Senior Player Analytics Analyst
VGW
Use SQL and Python to shape player analytics at VGW in Toronto. Analyze behavior, friction points, and retention across social games.
As a Senior Insights Analyst, you will partner strategically with Product and Revenue teams across VGW’s social gaming portfolio. You will interpret large databases, study player performance, and connect analysis with player experience, growth, and profitability. The work also supports marketing, senior leadership, and engineering stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze player behavior and identify critical friction points
Oversee virtual economy health and reward mechanics
Query large-scale databases using SQL and Python
Execute A/B tests and experimentation frameworks
Build self-serve visuals and executive dashboards
Requirements:
Six-plus years using SQL and Python
Degree in a quantitative field
Analytics or data science experience, preferably in gaming
Experience with business intelligence visualization tools
Confidence presenting to senior and C-suite stakeholders
Bring player analysis, experimentation, SQL, and Python expertise to help VGW improve social gaming experiences and performance.
