Operate a self-loader truck in Southern New Brunswick, using Class 1 driving expertise to transport logs safely and precisely. Work independently outdoors across remote forestry locations.
SNB Woodlands seeks a Contractor Truck Driver for its Woodlands team. You will load and secure logs, inspect equipment, coordinate routing, and support productive forestry operations. The position requires truck driving experience, safety awareness, and basic troubleshooting knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate self-loader trucks under safety regulations and company standards
Load and secure logs using legal safety protocols
Inspect trucks and loaders daily for operational readiness
Report equipment issues and coordinate efficient routing
Meet production and utilization goals independently
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 Driver's License
Minimum two years of truck driving experience
Five years and off-highway logging experience preferred
Basic troubleshooting and truck-loader maintenance understanding
Ability to work independently in remote areas
Bring Class 1 driving, equipment maintenance, and load security skills to SNB Woodlands forestry operations across Southern New Brunswick.
