Meat Department Manager Red Deer

Lead meat department operations at Deer Park Food Store in Red Deer, using inventory control and customer service expertise. This full-time position requires weekday and evening availability.
As Meat Manager, you will oversee the department, manage budgets, and support merchandising standards. The position includes ordering, receiving, promotions, team leadership, recruitment, training, development, and performance management. You will also follow up on customer concerns and complete assigned duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage overall meat department operations
Monitor budgets, inventory, ordering, and receiving
Maintain accurate merchandising, tagging, and pricing
Track customer concerns and provide follow-up
Lead recruitment, training, and team performance
Requirements:
Grade 12 or acceptable education and experience combination
Meat Cutting Certificate or two years meat cutting
Three years retail supervisory experience
Experience analyzing financial results and managing initiatives
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Bring meat cutting, retail supervision, financial analysis, and customer service skills to lead Deer Park Food Store’s department.
