Material Planner Supply Chain

Coordinate material purchasing for Puratos in Mississauga, Ontario, using forecasting and inventory control to support production and sales demands.
The Planner manages daily purchasing needs for Puratos Canada Inc. This position suits candidates with supply chain or logistics experience, SAP proficiency, and strong communication skills. You will generate purchase orders, follow supplier deliveries, maintain records, and support food safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Forecast raw material demands against planning and sales forecasts
Generate and follow up on purchase orders
Coordinate international, intercompany, and non-stock orders
Maintain stock levels, reorder quantities, and SAP pricing
Communicate supplier trends, quality, supply, and service information
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field
One to two years of relevant logistics or supply chain experience
Food manufacturing experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP tasks
Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation communication skills
Support Puratos purchasing operations through forecasting, supplier coordination, SAP accuracy, inventory control, and ethical procurement practices.
