You will assess client circumstances, explain options, and own relationships from initial conversations through signed retainers. Daily work includes AI-assisted research, pipeline management, and coordination with matter-handling teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise prospective clients and explain their legal options
Own relationships through signed engagement and retainer
Carry a revenue target after the ramp period
Use AI tools to research, prepare, and follow up
Test tools and build training materials
Requirements:

Practising lawyer admitted in Canada
One to three years since call to the bar
JD or LLB from a recognized law school
Strong communication and client assessment abilities
Hands-on Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI experience
Apply legal judgment, client communication, AI research, and relationship ownership as a Business Development Associate Lawyer.
