Pressroom Manager Sheetfed Offset Printing

Lead sheetfed and offset web printing operations at Apex Graphics in Mississauga, Ontario, with on-site responsibility for quality and production.
As Pressroom Manager, you will oversee manufacturing workflows, lead pressroom staff, and support safe, efficient production. The work includes reviewing artwork, colours, and specifications while monitoring registration, ink colour, press settings, and print quality. You will also troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily print production, assignments, quality checks, and signoffs
Lead, schedule, train, and support pressroom staff
Review artwork, colours, specifications, and production requirements
Troubleshoot issues and support proper press operation
Manage inventory, supplies, records, and operational reporting
Requirements:
Five years of printing management experience
Experience with sheetfed and offset web printing
Manufacturing workflow experience in quality-conscious environments
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Mechanical aptitude and commitment to safe, clean work
