Heavy Equipment Excavator Operator Role

Elevate your career as a Heavy Equipment Excavator Operator for a civil construction team near Fort McMurray. Your skills in excavating and equipment maintenance will be essential in this rewarding position.
In this full-time role, you'll operate excavators effectively, ensuring material is moved and loaded with precision. You will have a minimum of 2-4 years of heavy equipment experience, including excavators over/under 180 tons. Your responsibilities also include conducting equipment checks and ensuring optimal safety practices on site while making valuable contributions during team discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Efficiently operate the excavator to manage earth and rock
• Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks on equipment
• Follow instructions and adapt strategies based on conditions
• Engage in safety discussions during toolbox meetings
• Execute additional duties as required for project success
Requirements:
• Completion of High School or GED
• Valid class five driver’s license and clean Drivers Abstract
• Minimum 2-4 years experience in heavy equipment operation
• Certified in CSTS and OSSA or equivalent
• Effective communication in English
