Global Tax Operations Manager

Lead global tax operations at STEMCELL Technologies through international tax planning, Canadian compliance, and United States tax projects in Vancouver. Support science-driven growth by managing complex tax priorities.
As Tax Manager, you will lead international, Canadian, and United States tax projects for a growing biotechnology company. You will evaluate risk, build value, and execute strategic tax planning. The position partners with internal business functions and external financial advisors while owning key projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage regulatory audits, examinations, and dispute resolution strategies
Review international and Canadian corporate income tax filings
Oversee indirect sales tax filings and payments
Lead STEMCELL’s Scientific Research and Experimental Development claim process
Research complex Canadian and international tax requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and five to ten years’ relevant experience
CPA or Chartered Accountant professional designation
CPA In-Depth Taxation Course or LLM in Tax considered an asset
Ability to build relationships across organizational levels
Commitment to continuous growth and learning new skills
Bring global tax leadership, filing expertise, and strategic planning skills to STEMCELL Technologies’ expanding biotechnology operations.
