SoC Emulation and Silicon Validation Lead
QUALCOMM, Inc.
Drive end-to-end SoC validation at Qualcomm Technologies across pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon phases, using C and bare-metal software.
This lead guides validation strategy, planning, content development, and execution for complex AI accelerator systems. Responsibilities cross hardware and software boundaries, including concurrency, low-level interfaces, system use cases, bring-up, and integration. The position partners with Architecture, Design, DV, Software, Performance, Power, and Product teams to deliver comprehensive coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
Own system-level validation content across emulation and silicon
Conduct post-silicon bring-up and system integration
Develop register, interrupt, clock, and power programming
Troubleshoot limited-visibility System-On-Chip behavior
Optimize algorithms for performance, power, and memory
Requirements:
8+ years of silicon validation or platform bring-up experience
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Strong embedded software and operating systems fundamentals
Proficiency programming in C and Assembly language
Some Python or Linux shell scripting exposure
Lead Qualcomm SoC validation through emulation, bring-up, integration, and system-level debugging with cross-functional engineering teams.
