Analyst Technical Solutions
Develop Python applications with Django, Celery, and AWS for Ontario Health’s Genomics work in Toronto’s hybrid software development environment.
The Senior Software Developer supports PanelApp, an open-source platform from Genomics England built on Django. You will design and develop Python-based applications on AWS while contributing to the Drug Formulary and Genomics team. Responsibilities include development workflows, security tools, AWS operations, and testing. The work supports patient and healthcare professional information resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Python applications on the PanelApp platform
Develop Django applications using AWS infrastructure
Deploy or operate workflows in AWS
Develop Docker-based development workflows
Work with security tools during application development
Requirements:
Python web framework development experience
Task queues such as Celery in AWS
GraphQL development experience
PostgreSQL knowledge
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
Use Python, Django, AWS, Celery, and GraphQL to advance Ontario Health’s PanelApp development work.
