Service Department Manager Burnaby
Inland Truck & Equipment
Lead Inland Truck & Equipment’s Burnaby service department with heavy-duty truck knowledge, strong leadership, and customer relations expertise.
The Service Manager is part of dealership leadership and runs an efficient, profitable service department. This position focuses on staffing, customer retention, cost controls, objectives, service records, and selling technicians’ available time. You will work with Service Advisors, Equipment Technicians, Truck Technicians, Parts, Body Shop, Sales, Administration, and Credit.
Key Responsibilities:
Forecast department goals and objectives
Prepare and administer the annual operating budget
Monitor performance through reports, tracking systems, and surveys
Review repair orders before warranty submission
Confirm customer satisfaction through 24-hour follow-up
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED essential
Related post-secondary diploma or trades certification preferred
Heavy-duty truck and equipment technical knowledge
Three years of related experience and/or training
Valid driver’s license and passport for required travel
Bring leadership, financial reporting ability, and customer relations skills to Inland’s heavy-duty service operation in Burnaby.
