Mechanical Branch Operations Manager

Lead Mechanical Branch operations in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, using fleet management and supervisory expertise across a continuous 24/7 facility.
The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure seeks a Depot Manager for the Prince County Mechanical Branch. This leadership role directs staff, services, resources, and customer service. It requires budget management, equipment knowledge, safety oversight, and operational planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily Mechanical Branch operations for continuous service delivery
Lead, supervise, and support staff across operational activities
Allocate equipment, tools, and materials to meet requirements
Oversee budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and cost controls
Coordinate seasonal readiness, repairs, maintenance, and priorities
Requirements:
Post-secondary business degree or related Red Seal qualification
Extensive senior-level supervisory experience
Related management experience including budget management
Considerable fleet equipment knowledge and trade familiarity
Valid driver's license and current clean abstract
