As a Platform Backend Engineer, you will connect identity, secrets management, audit infrastructure, and workflow services. Your work supports engineering teams and agentic AI workloads. Correctness, reliability, security, and operational clarity guide platform design.
Key Responsibilities:

Build services for API access, Kafka routing, workflows, identity, and audits
Design durable event-driven workflows with Kafka and Temporal
Implement multi-cloud secrets management and envelope encryption
Enforce capability grants across customers, workflows, and services
Improve observability, performance, recovery, and incident response
Requirements:

Production backend experience using Go or Rust
Event-driven systems experience involving retries and idempotency
Authentication and authorization experience with OAuth 2.0 or OIDC
Encryption or key-management experience using cloud KMS platforms
Multi-tenant operations experience with logging, metrics, and tracing
Apply backend engineering expertise across Go, Rust, Kafka, security, and distributed systems at Kaseya in Toronto.
