Materials Planning Coordinator Student

Turn production requirements into reliable material plans at Eclipse Automation, supporting scheduling, supplier coordination, and inventory control in Cambridge.
This full-time Co-op reports to Supply Chain and supports purchasing activities across custom automated manufacturing projects. You will work with project management, manufacturing, engineering, and supplier partners while maintaining supply continuity and cost-effective material delivery. The position is on-site in Cambridge, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate materials for production requirements and project schedules
Limit on-hand inventories while maintaining production support
Monitor supply continuity and escalate constraints appropriately
Maintain cost baselines and implement cost reduction strategies
Track dashboard metrics and stay informed on technologies
Requirements:
Current enrollment in a relevant post-secondary academic program
Co-op work term required by the academic program
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Cross-functional teamwork experience and commitment to improvement
Develop practical materials planning experience through scheduling, inventory control, supplier coordination, and analytical supply chain work.
