Dietary Aide Food Service Worker

Support resident meal service as a Dietary Aide with peopleCare, using food preparation skills and resident dietary profiles. Follow established standards for timely service.
This dietary team position reports to the Director of Food Services. You will assist the Cook with meal preparation, reheating, beverages, nourishment items, and catering. The work supports residents’ diets, food preferences, and a pleasurable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals, beverages, and nourishment items
Follow Dietary Profiles and Therapeutic Menus for residents
Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary dietary work areas
Record assigned food and refrigeration temperatures accurately
Communicate with staff, residents, and their families
Requirements:
Complete or enroll in Food Service Worker training
Maintain current Public Health food safety certification
Minimum grade 10 education
Read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions
Work accurately, quickly, safely, and cooperatively
Bring reliable food preparation, safe handling, and resident-focused meal service to the peopleCare dietary team.
