Financial Analyst Payroll Accounting
Nucleus Independent Living
Support payroll accounting and financial reporting at Nucleus Independent Living in Mississauga Halton. Use ADP, Excel, and analytical skills in an open office.
Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Analyst supports accounting, payroll, financial activities, software applications, and organizational projects. The position coordinates accurate, current financial information, records, administrative functions, and daily requirements. Candidates need accounting knowledge, GAAP understanding, and strong computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial packages
Reconcile spending and report expenditures against budget allocations
Process payroll through ADP and audit processing reports
Prepare journal entries, remittances, tax forms, and T4s
Maintain payroll records and address escalated pay inquiries
Requirements:
Enrollment in accounting, business administration, commerce, or equivalent
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Experience with QuickBooks, ADP, or SharePoint is an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to meet timelines and work under pressure
