Educational Technology Specialist Moodle
MaKami College
Support Moodle, digital learning tools, and faculty training as an Educational Technologist with MaKami College in Edmonton or Calgary.
This Educational Technologist connects MaKami College’s LMS, IT, and Instructional Design teams. You will improve digital learning experiences through instructional technology, multimedia, and online learning practices. The position supports faculty, curriculum development, student learning, and educational technology implementation across the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate educational technology use across LMS, IT, and design teams
Implement, manage, and troubleshoot Moodle and learning technologies
Train faculty through workshops, coaching, guides, and tutorials
Integrate multimedia, interactive elements, and digital tools into courses
Recommend edtech solutions and instructional process improvements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in educational technology, instructional design, information technology, or related field
Experience with Moodle, LMS platforms, digital tools, and multimedia creation
Knowledge of instructional design, online learning, and educational practices
HTML, CSS, and basic coding knowledge for LMS customization
Strong communication, project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
