Drill Operator Edmonton
DFI Piling
Operate DFI blast-hole and auger drills from Edmonton, using drilling experience and Class 3 driving skills. Extended out-of-town work is required.
DFI seeks an ambitious, hard-working Drill Operator for its branch. You will provide drilling services according to DFI procedures and customer requirements. The work includes operating company trucks, maintaining equipment, and supporting production needs through a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate blast-hole and auger drills safely and professionally
Provide drilling services meeting DFI procedures and customer requirements
Drive company trucks to and from work sites
Inspect drills and attached lifting devices daily
Maintain equipment and legal driver’s logbook
Requirements:
Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Endorsement
Relevant auger or air-drill experience
Geotechnical or water well drilling experience
Availability for extended out-of-town assignments
Willingness to complete required drug and alcohol testing
Bring drilling, equipment maintenance, and commercial driving skills to DFI’s Edmonton-based Drill Operator position serving customer requirements.
