Facilities Maintenance Technician Surrey
Black & McDonald Limited
Support BC Hydro’s Surrey Campus through facilities maintenance, building inspections, corrective repairs, and coordination with external suppliers onsite. This onsite position requires technical skills and organized service.
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician with Black & McDonald, you will support safety, maintenance, and operational integrity. Your work includes planned maintenance, corrective repairs, inspections, supplier coordination, and CMMS updates. You will help resolve facilities issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute planned and corrective maintenance tasks
Conduct operational, safety, and site condition inspections
Coordinate supplier activities and supervise onsite maintenance work
Respond to JDE work orders and tag completed assets
Complete light building, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical duties
Requirements:
Three to five years facilities or service industry experience
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Small repair experience as a hands-on technician
Clean Class 5 or higher BC driver’s license
Basic computer skills and Excel, Word, Outlook knowledge
