Deliver general freight across Dartmouth as a safety-focused Class 1 driver with commercial experience, accurate documentation, and professional customer service.
This full-time local driving position starts at 7:00 A.M. and follows a Monday-to-Saturday daytime schedule. You will transport freight, complete customer pickups and deliveries, and operate flatbed equipment according to company policies. The position requires winter driving experience, load-securement knowledge, and compliance with hours-of-service requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport general freight on local Dartmouth routes
Complete customer pickups and deliveries professionally
Follow safety policies, regulations, and hours-of-service rules
Report vehicle issues to the maintenance department
Maintain required delivery and incident documentation
Requirements:
Two years of verifiable recent Class 1 driving experience
Commercial winter driving experience
Ability to complete e-logs and vehicle inspection reports
Experience securing loads in all weather conditions
Strong communication and customer service skills
Use your Class 1 experience, regulatory knowledge, and dependable service approach to support freight transportation across the Dartmouth area.
