Commercial Credit Business Analyst

Analyze commercial credit proposals for FirstOntario in a hybrid Hamilton role, using financial modelling and due diligence to support sound lending decisions.
The Business Analyst, Commercial Services supports Commercial Services goals while advising Commercial Members on products and services. You will support Account Managers or Credit Solutions with medium to high complexity loan proposals, risk management, and portfolio reviews. The position may be filled at Analyst or Senior Analyst level.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and conduct due diligence on commercial loan proposals
Develop terms, pricing, conditions, and covenants
Prepare loan packages, reports, credit analyses, and memos
Model portfolio performance across varied asset classes
Review financial statements and recommend risk mitigation
Requirements:
Skills, experience, and qualifications determine placement level
Ability to analyze medium to high complexity credit requests
Capability to prepare financial models and credit applications
Willingness to support risk and portfolio management
Readiness to work hybrid in Hamilton, Ontario
