Use brake, suspension, and diagnostic expertise as a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician with Kal Tire in Wabush, NL. This is full-time permanent work.
Kal Tire seeks a licensed Automotive Service Technician for its Mining Tire Group location in Wabush. Perform maintenance and complex repairs on passenger vehicles, domestic vehicles, and light trucks. The work includes inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs, while supporting apprentices and collaborating with Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform brake, suspension, engine diagnostic, and maintenance services
Inspect, diagnose, adjust, service, and repair various vehicles
Mentor apprentices through technical coaching and skill development
Collaborate with technicians on passenger cars and light trucks
Identify service opportunities with the Sales team
Requirements:
Automotive Service Technician Journeyperson, Journeyman, or Red Seal certification
Valid driver’s license
Minimum three years’ front-end brake, shock, and alignment experience
Vehicle Mounted Air Compressor familiarity is an asset
Strong attention to detail and methodical problem-solving approach
