Computed Tomography Technologist White Rock

Support patient-centered CT imaging in White Rock with Fraser Health, applying current CT theory, PACS knowledge, and safe work procedures.
This Casual Radiation Technologist, CT position is based at Peace Arch Hospital. The technologist performs examinations, prepares patients, enters relevant data into radiology information systems, and processes acquired images. The work includes quality control, equipment maintenance reporting, and communication with clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Correlate clinical histories with requested CT examinations
Position patients and explain clinical procedures clearly
Process, archive, and retrieve acquired imaging data
Maintain examination areas, trays, equipment, and supplies
Respond to examination and scheduling inquiries from clinical areas
Requirements:
Knowledge of current CT theory and practices
Knowledge of PACS and Radiology Information Systems
Demonstrated skill using CT equipment and supplies
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
Physical ability to perform position duties
Apply CT expertise, PACS proficiency, and patient communication skills within Peace Arch Hospital’s imaging services.
