Lead real estate development strategy and execution at Lorval Developments across Western Canada’s diverse portfolio of active and future projects.
Reporting to the President & CEO, the Director of Development leads the overall development function. This senior leader oversees development teams, advances opportunities, and manages performance across multiple asset classes. The work spans acquisition, planning, approvals, construction, and turnover.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership across the development portfolio
Mentor Development Managers and development professionals
Drive projects from acquisition through turnover
Develop profitability and value creation strategies
Build relationships with municipalities, consultants, and investors
Requirements:

10+ years of progressive real estate development experience
Large-scale residential, industrial, commercial, or mixed-use project experience
Understanding of entitlements, approvals, economics, and execution
Experience managing development teams
Strong financial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Bring accountable leadership, financial acumen, and complex project delivery expertise to Lorval’s growing Western Canada development platform.
