Accounts Payable Clerks in downtown Toronto will use invoice processing and reconciliation skills during Monday-to-Friday daytime shifts. This position offers a $47,000 to $54,000 annual salary.
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support the finance team. You will ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time while maintaining clean, current payables records. The work includes QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, and deadline-focused organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, review, and enter supplier invoices
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving records
Prepare weekly cheque and EFT payment runs
Answer supplier questions by phone and email
Reconcile statements and support month-end close
Requirements:
One to two years of accounts payable experience
Bookkeeping experience is also considered
Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Accurate, organized, and comfortable meeting deadlines
