Cultural Wellness Program Facilitator

Deliver culturally relevant wellness programming as a full-time Facilitator with Shawenim Abinoojii Inc. in Little Grand Rapids, Manitoba.
Reporting to the Wellness Program Supervisor, you will serve children, youth, families, and Elders through community cultural development. The position supports Care Homes in community and Winnipeg. You will collaborate with community leadership, organizations, and the Running White Wolves Youth Council.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan culturally relevant recreation and wellness programs
Coordinate activities and resources for children, youth, and families
Build partnerships with communities and service organizations
Host inclusive events responsive to community needs
Promote physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness
Requirements:
Two to three years supporting children, youth, and families
Knowledge of Southeast First Nations communities and culture
Ability to facilitate culturally relevant programming
Strong communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills
Valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, and required checks
Bring cultural programming, partnership development, and holistic wellness experience to children, youth, and families across communities.
