The Strathmore Fire Department recruits paid-on-call firefighters for emergency response, training, and fire prevention duties. Compensation is hourly and based on training and supervisory responsibilities, with the rate not posted. Recruits attend weekly evening training and weekend courses as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Respond to emergencies as a paid-on-call firefighter

Requirements:

Live or work in Strathmore
Be at least 18 years old
Hold a valid Class 5 licence
