Property Maintenance Technician Grande Prairie

This Maintenance Technician position serves Northview's Residential team under the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities span routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance across suites, buildings, grounds, and common areas. The position requires clear resident communication, accurate documentation, safe work practices, and effective coordination when specialized support is needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair cabinets, doors, windows, locks, and suite fixtures
Address minor mold, asbestos, and pest concerns appropriately
Assist contractors with access, inspections, and coordination
Deliver resident notices and explain required access or delays
Support snow removal, litter collection, and seasonal grounds upkeep
Requirements:
Previous property maintenance or related field experience
Experience with plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliances
Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
Ability to work independently and manage multiple work orders
Flexibility for on-call rotation and after-hours emergencies
Use broad property maintenance knowledge, resident communication, and safe troubleshooting practices to support Northview homes in Grande Prairie.
