Registered Practical Nurse Mental Health

Support mental health recovery as a Registered Practical Nurse in St. Thomas, Ontario, using nursing assessment and community-based care skills.
CMHA Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services seeks an RPN for Community Homes for Opportunity in the Elgin Zone. You will collaborate with clients, housing teams, hospitals, and community partners. The work includes psychiatric assessments, medication support, health teaching, diabetes care, and crisis intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct physical and psychiatric assessments
Administer depot psychotropic injections
Provide medication reconciliation and health teaching
Coordinate appointments and community referrals
Respond to urgent health concerns using harm reduction
Requirements:
Registered Practical Nurse diploma
Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
Current CPR certificate
Valid driver’s licence, vehicle, and required insurance
Police Vulnerable Sector Check completed within six months
Bring regulated nursing practice, mental health support, and collaborative community care to clients across the Elgin Zone.
