Long Term Care Food Delivery Driver
Halton Region
Deliver prepared meals as a Driver for Halton Region in Milton, using a Class G license and careful temperature checks. This temporary role works 12 hours weekly.
Reporting to the Production Kitchen Nutrition Services Supervisor, you will deliver menu items to long term care clients and Adult Day Programs. The work requires truck inspections, Cambro cart handling, temperature documentation, maintenance coordination, cleaning, and organized delivery service. Allendale Long Term Care Facility is located at 185 Ontario Street, Milton.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect trucks daily and submit documented inspection logs
Secure Cambro carts for shipment from production areas
Verify and document truck box temperatures during deliveries
Deliver carts to long term care clients and programs
Arrange refueling, repairs, cleaning, and regular maintenance
Requirements:
Secondary school diploma
Class G driver’s license
Completed Fleet Vehicle Driver Program training
Excellent organizational skills
Vulnerable Sector Check and driver’s abstract required
Bring safe driving, organized delivery practices, and temperature control awareness to Halton Region’s Production Kitchen services.
