You will provide dedicated, one-on-one care for an elderly gentleman transitioning home from Deer Lodge Centre. The full-time schedule uses split shifts lasting 1-2 hours, beginning at 8:30am and ending between 9:00-10:00pm, seven days weekly. The position is non-live-in, with an optional discounted apartment available in the same building.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide dignified bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
Monitor mental and physical well-being throughout scheduled shifts
Offer warm, engaging companionship and daily comfort
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs
Manage light housekeeping connected with client care
Requirements:

Current Health Care Aide certificate or recognized equivalent
Proven superior health aid support experience
Prior overnight mobility tracking experience highly preferred
Physical stamina for frequent lifting and turning
English communication with family and medical team
