Casual Health Care Aide Calgary

Provide resident care as a Casual Health Care Aide at AgeCare McKenzie Towne in Calgary, using safe transfers and personal care skills. This is a part-time opportunity.
Working under a Staff Nurse, you will collaborate with the care team to meet individual resident needs. The position includes bathing, feeding assistance, routine treatments, mobility support, and accompanying residents to activities. Care follows resident care plans and established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Bathed, showered, and washed residents using required procedures
Assisted transfers using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and transfer belts
Supported feeding during meals, snacks, and nourishment times
Provided routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
Accompanied residents to dining, therapy, and recreation activities
Requirements:
Recognized PCA or HCA 2002 certificate course completion
Active CLHA registration
Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
One year continuing care experience preferred
Post-secondary education considered an asset
Bring resident care, transfer assistance, and English communication skills to support AgeCare residents in Calgary.
