Support patient meals onsite in Vancouver as a Dietary Aide, using food preparation, meal service, and dietary accuracy skills daily.
Providence Health Care seeks Dietary Aides for regular full-time, regular part-time, and casual positions. Work may occur at St Paul's Hospital, Mount St. Joseph Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, or St. John Hospice. You will report to the Food Services Manager and support nutritious meals for patients, residents, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Portion and serve meals to patients and residents
Prepare beverages, fruits, vegetables, sandwiches, salads, and desserts
Prepare diet items according to nutritional plans
Check meals and trays for dietary accuracy
Deliver wagons or trays to patient and resident units
Requirements:

Current Food Safe Certificate Level 1
Grade 10 education
One year recent related experience or equivalent preparation
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Physical ability to perform position duties
Bring food preparation, meal service, and organizational skills to Dietary Aide work across Providence Health Care sites.
