Shape Music learning for Grades 4 to 7 at Crofton House School, using piano, vocal training, and student-centred instruction.
This fixed-term Music teacher position covers maternity leave within the Junior School. You will collaborate with a teaching partner, enhance learning for diverse learners, and contribute to an all-girls educational environment. Responsibilities include curriculum integration, choir leadership, concert preparation, assemblies, and co-curricular programming.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach dynamic choral Music at Junior School level
Plan instruction collaboratively with a teaching partner
Enhance experiences for diverse learners
Prepare Music for assemblies and performances
Participate in comprehensive co-curricular programming
Requirements:
Valid BC Teaching Certificate and legal Canadian work eligibility
Educational background highlighting Music
Piano and vocal training
Young children’s Music teaching experience
Awareness of girls’ learning styles
Use Music education, curriculum knowledge, and flexible collaboration to support young students at Crofton House School.
