Part Time Radiological Technologist

Perform diagnostic imaging at Langley Memorial Hospital as a part time Radiological Technologist using radiographic equipment and safe radiation practices.
Reporting to Medical Imaging leadership, this Radiological Technologist performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within Fraser Health. The work includes RIS and PACS records, patient preparation, image processing, and client-centered communication. Certification with the CAMRT is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations
Operate computerized imaging equipment and process radiographs
Enter clinical data and update RIS and PACS records
Explain procedures and monitor patient safety
Test equipment and complete quality control checks
Requirements:
Certification with the CAMRT
Knowledge of safe diagnostic imaging equipment procedures
Ability to perform examinations meeting departmental standards
Knowledge of PACS and Radiology Information Systems
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
Support diagnostic imaging at Langley Memorial Hospital through radiographic expertise, patient communication, and safe equipment practices every day.
