Secondary Academic Coordinator North Shore
North Shore Winter Club
Use classroom management and learning support skills as a Secondary Academic Coordinator at North Shore Academy, on-site Monday through Friday.
The Student Success Coordinator helps Grades 8 to 12 student-athletes manage academic responsibilities alongside high-performance hockey. This 10-month contract supports assignments, assessments, learning plans, academic goals, attendance, and engagement. You will work with students, families, coaches, and Academy staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students individually, in groups, and in classrooms
Guide academic goals, assignments, assessments, and learning plans
Communicate student concerns constructively with relevant stakeholders
Develop accountability, leadership, independence, and strong study habits
Support smooth delivery of the education program
Requirements:
Background supporting or teaching secondary school students
Subject strength in Math, Sciences, English, or Social Studies
Classroom management, organization, and communication skills
Adaptable, collaborative approach with diverse learners
Experience with online learning platforms and Microsoft Office
