Protect Victoria properties through access control, patrols, and customer service as a Security Guard with Guardteck Security. Full-time, part-time, and casual hourly schedules are available.
Guardteck Security seeks reliable, professional guards for commercial towers, shopping centres, and multi-tenant properties. You will greet people, verify access, monitor CCTV, respond to alarms, and document incidents. Site assignments may include front desk, concierge, patrol, or access-control posts.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet tenants, visitors, shoppers, and contractors professionally
Control access through key cards, fobs, sign-ins, and passes
Verify contractor identification, approvals, and work permits
Conduct indoor and outdoor foot patrols and monitor CCTV
Write clear incident reports and maintain detailed memo books
Requirements:
Valid British Columbia Security Worker Licence
Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 certificate or willingness to obtain
Legal entitlement to work in Canada
Strong spoken and written English, including report writing
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol during assigned shifts
Bring calm judgment, reliable service, and access-control expertise to Guardteck Security sites throughout Victoria, British Columbia.
