Provide resident care as a Personal Support Worker with AgeCare Brant in Burlington, Ontario, supporting care plans and safe surroundings.
This regular part-time PSW position focuses on monitoring resident care and identifying needs. You will document care information, attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops, and follow IPAC policies. The role also supports onboarding new staff as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide resident care according to established care plans
Monitor care and report findings to supervisors
Document information related to resident care
Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
Follow infection prevention and control policies
Requirements:
Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Know basic sanitation and cleaning techniques
Understand geriatric resident needs and bedside care
Bring resident care, documentation, bedside support, and infection prevention knowledge to AgeCare Brant’s Burlington care community.
