Transportation Operations Dispatcher

Keep bus scheduling and transportation operations coordinated at First Student. Apply radio dispatch knowledge, deadline management, and clear communication daily.
As a Dispatcher, you oversee routes, support on-time performance, and communicate with drivers, monitors, and contracted customers. You handle complaints, provide solutions for transportation problems, and assist with day-to-day operations. Previous dispatch, driver, or terminal operations experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure on-time performance of bus routes
Handle scheduling and driver complaints
Report concerns to operations leadership
Serve as customer communication liaison
Complete assigned special projects
Requirements:

Three to five years of related experience
Previous dispatch or terminal operations experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of radio dispatch equipment
Ability to deliver under time constraints
Use transportation coordination, scheduling, and communication strengths to support dependable bus service as a First Student Dispatcher.
