Veterinary Dental Surgery Technician

Support veterinary dentistry and oral surgery at Vermont’s only specialty and 24/7 emergency animal hospital in Williston. Strong anesthesia experience is essential.
BEVS seeks a Veterinary Technician for its skilled dentistry team. The Anesthesia/Surgery Technician provides surgical and anesthetic support for the boarded veterinary dentist while working independently or collaboratively. You will communicate with clients, follow patients from consultation through discharge, and contribute to quality care before, during, and after procedures. Certification or licensure is preferred, not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate closely with staff members and clients
Work independently or within a group as needed
Ensure quality care throughout dental procedures
Perform surgical patient discharges
Train new and current employees
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong anesthesia monitoring experience required
Veterinary Technician Certification or License preferred
Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
Availability for the target Tuesday through Thursday schedule
Bring anesthesia monitoring, dental procedure, and client communication skills to BEVS’s veterinary dentistry and surgery team.
