Hotel Security Officer Vancouver

Protect guests and employees at Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver through vigilant patrols, emergency response, and thoughtful guest service. This position supports a safe luxury hotel environment.
The Security Officer monitors assigned areas, anticipates potential problems, and responds to disturbances, prohibited conduct, and emergencies. The role requires hotel security experience, sound judgment, conflict resolution, and accurate documentation. You will work with hotel personnel, outside agencies, and the Security Manager while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol designated areas and document actions taken
Investigate alarms, suspicious persons, complaints, and incidents
Respond to emergencies, accidents, fights, and safety hazards
Control access, inspect packages, and escort personnel
Maintain records, reports, radios, keys, and departmental communications
Requirements:
Three to five years of security officer experience
High school diploma and valid British Columbia Security License
Valid OFA 2, CPR, AED, and Class 5 licence
Knowledge of Criminal Code, municipal bylaws, and relevant legislation
English communication, conflict resolution, and decision making skills
Bring disciplined patrol, emergency response, and guest relations expertise to security operations at Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver.
