Wheel Loader Operator Waste Recycling

Use wheel loaders, skid steers, and site equipment to support Emterra Group’s recycling, organics, and waste operations.
This full-time Equipment Operator position focuses on safe, efficient machinery operation within an essential service organization. You will inspect equipment daily, document findings, communicate with supervisors and management, and complete other assigned duties. The schedule provides four days on, three days off, with ten-hour shifts per day.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate wheel loaders and skid steers on site
Operate various equipment efficiently during daily operations
Inspect equipment daily and document inspection results
Discuss equipment concerns or suggestions with management
Complete additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
Interest in machinery and equipment work
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Waste and recycling experience is an asset, not required
Support essential recycling and waste services through safe equipment operation, accurate inspections, and clear workplace communication.
