Home Care Licensed Practical Nurse

Provide professional home nursing care in St. Albert, using assessment and clinical decision-making skills across clients’ changing needs. Days, evenings, and weekends apply.
Assisted Living Alberta seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for the St. Albert Homecare Home Living team. You will work within nursing standards, policies, legislation, and your scope of practice. The position supports safe, patient- and family-centred care through monitoring, documentation, teaching, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe, effective nursing care in clients’ homes
Observe, monitor, report, and document client changes
Assist clients with activities of daily living
Provide relevant information and teaching to clients and families
Collaborate with the interprofessional health care team
Requirements:
Complete an accredited practical nurse education program
Hold active or eligible Alberta LPN registration and practice permit
Maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support Health Care Provider certification
Demonstrate communication, assessment, organization, and time management skills
Hold a driver’s license and have a vehicle
Apply nursing assessment, documentation, teaching, and collaboration skills while supporting clients throughout the St. Albert Homecare community.
