Health Safety Environmental Advisor Lead
IREN
Lead health, safety, and environmental systems for IREN’s renewable-energy data centres while coordinating compliance, risk assessment, and operational stakeholders.
Podtech Data Centre Inc., a proud IREN Group member, seeks a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor Lead. This senior HSE role maintains processes, produces reports, prepares presentations, and develops policies when needed. You will support safe operations across departments while identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing preventive solutions. The work spans HSE management systems, regulatory compliance, performance measurement, and continuous improvement across growing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize the EHSS Management System
Review health, safety, and environmental risks regularly
Assess facility standards against regulations and IREN policy
Oversee HSE reporting, measurements, and required submissions
Facilitate incident investigations and share operational learning
Requirements:
Degree, diploma, or professional accreditation in Environmental Safety
Minimum three years’ progressive occupational or process safety experience
Experience implementing HSE systems and industry best practices
Knowledge of construction processes and electrical infrastructure risk mitigation
Strong communication, analytical, consultative, and influencing skills
