Operate a hydroelectric facility in Rivière Saint-Jean or Clarke City, QC, using monitoring, maintenance, and alarm-response skills. Bilingualism is required.
Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. seeks an Operator for hydroelectric operations at an O3-level position. The work combines plant monitoring, equipment maintenance, facility performance optimization, and coordination with contractors and stakeholders. French and English proficiency supports regular collaboration outside Québec.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain hydroelectric facility operations
Optimize facility performance and power generation
Complete maintenance and repairs on equipment and infrastructure
Investigate alarms and minimize operational downtime
Support contractors during maintenance and major projects
Requirements:
Five years of electromechanical or related experience
Diploma in Electromechanics or equivalent technical qualification
Proficiency with laptops and Microsoft Office applications
Good physical condition, flexibility, and versatility
Bilingual French and English communication skills
