Construction estimating expertise drives commercial and residential quotations in Brandon, Manitoba, with project planning, cost analysis, and supplier coordination at HORIZON GLASS LTD.
This full-time Estimator works closely with office staff, suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams. The experienced role covers estimating processes, project materials, drawings, schedules, and financials. Its purpose is keeping project requirements, deadlines, schedules, quality, and cost targets on track.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare commercial and residential estimates, quotations, tenders, and follow-up
Analyze plans, specifications, drawings, and project details
Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs
Coordinate projects, schedules, communications, and change requests
Monitor progress, completion, customer acceptance, and satisfaction
Requirements:
Two to five years of relevant hands-on estimating experience
Working knowledge of estimating processes and project materials
Blueprint and shop drawing reading skills
Creative thinking, problem solving, and time management skills
Current driver's license and personal transportation
