Stantec seeks a Technical Writer, Archaeology for its growing archaeology team. The temporary, full-time position supports projects across multiple service lines and may transition to permanent employment. Candidates can work from Stantec office locations across British Columbia, including Quesnel and Kamloops. The work involves regulatory reporting, field data management, and HSSE participation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare archaeological site forms and regulatory deliverables
Produce interim and final archaeological reports
Manage digitally collected field data
Manage manually collected field data
Participate actively in Stantec’s HSSE programs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology
Minimum one year of archaeological experience
Experience producing regulatory deliverables
Excellent technical writing skills
Commitment to safety culture and professional judgment
Bring archaeological experience, technical writing, and regulatory reporting expertise to Stantec’s environmental team across British Columbia.
