Bridge Infrastructure CAD Technologist

Use AutoCAD to shape bridge infrastructure as a Senior Design Technician with WSP, preparing detailed drawings and supporting field inspections.
This Senior Design Technician, Bridges position focuses on civil infrastructure across Alberta and beyond. You will contribute to preliminary, detailed, and as-built drawings for bridges, culverts, and retaining walls. Your work also supports technical documentation, structural condition interpretation, construction specifications, contract administration, and construction oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce preliminary and detailed civil infrastructure drawings
Complete as-built drawings for bridge-related projects
Assist with technical documentation informing project decisions
Support construction specifications and major inspection programs
Contribute to continuous improvement across delivery projects
Requirements:
Structural, Civil, or Transportation Engineering Technology diploma
AutoCAD proficiency in a consulting or design environment
Knowledge of MicroStation considered an asset
Familiarity with Civil 3D, 3D modelling, or Revit
TEC Bridge Inspection and Maintenance certification considered an asset
Bring CAD, bridge infrastructure, inspection, and documentation expertise to WSP projects serving Alberta and broader transportation needs.
