Structural Engineering Section Manager

As Structural Section Manager, you will guide HDR’s Building Engineering Services structural team. You will oversee staff development, project execution, workload, quality control, and technical services. The position includes project management, marketing support, and multidisciplinary coordination across Architecture and engineering groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily Structural section operations and project profitability
Lead structural project production and successful delivery
Select, train, develop, and manage technical personnel
Provide structural analysis, design, and construction-phase leadership
Coordinate workload, staffing, reviews, and multidisciplinary worksharing
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 10 years of experience
Prior leadership and management experience
Strong communication, listening, leadership, and organizational skills
Professional registration, license, or certification may be required
Support HDR’s structural engineering team through project delivery, technical excellence, staff development, and coordinated quality control.
