This Machine Learning Researcher supports the R&D Team in exploring new game-development features. You will study techniques that understand and react to narrative text, without generating it. The work combines narrative analysis, NLP models, cloud infrastructure, and machine learning optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect machine learning systems for complex narrative analysis
Improve key NLP models quantitatively
Design or integrate new models
Use cloud infrastructure for training and serving
Present results internally and at external conferences
Requirements:
Game development experience, especially with Unreal Engine
Relevant publications in narratology
Personal machine learning projects
Interest in computational narratology and narrative text
Ability to optimize systems for cost, latency, and quality
Develop narrative analysis systems, track state-of-the-art research, and help deploy machine learning results in game-development demos.
